AstroTurf is a Dominant Force in Michigan High School Football

Dalton, GA – If you’ve ever wondered about who dominates High School Football in the state of Michigan, well it’s a company and not a team. AstroTurf is the clear leader in the great state of Michigan with over 250 High School, College and indoor fields currently installed.

AstroTurf, the inventor of artificial turf and the industry leader in quality and innovation for over fifty years, has taken their forward-thinking ingenuity and disciplined R&D to continuously improve its systems and to deliver playing surfaces with the best sport-specific performance, durability, and player protection.  Schools all over Michigan have recognized this dedication to providing quality products and outstanding customer service when making their decisions on synthetic playing fields.

It’s a bold move to claim dominance, but one just has to look at the numbers to see that it is true. Currently, the Michigan High School Athletic Association has 16 semifinal football games scheduled at neutral sites. Of those 16 fields, 14 of them were installed with AstroTurf premium products. That’s an incredible 88%!  It stands to reason if the best are playing, you want them to play on the best fields.

Not only are AstroTurf fields being played on for these games, but teams that are part of the AstroTurf family are still alive in the playoffs and heading to these neutral sites. Teams that play their home games on AstroTurf such as West Bloomfield, Jackson Lumen Christi, Forrest Hills Central and six other of “our” teams are still alive and striving for a state title.

West Bloomfield High School

We would like to congratulate all of these teams on a great season and we wish them good luck in their next games. We take pride in our fields and our relationship with these great schools. Our success is very impressive in Michigan and it is a great example of what we are doing all over the nation.

The Michigan High School Semifinals just goes to prove what we have said all along…. Champions Play on AstroTurf!
