In May 2008, the Geneva Area Recreational, Educational, Athletic Trust was announced. This non-profit corporation was created to focus both energy and funding towards creating a world-class multipurpose facility.

The Spire Sports Complex, formally known as GaREAT, is now more than a vision; it is a work in progress. Construction work is in progress on the facilities that will span more than 450,000 square feet over multiple facilities that are center stage over the 175-acre campus.

This facility is National Finalist in the Synthetic Turf Council’s 2010 search for the Real Field of Dreams Contest.

For almost 30 years the Yardley Makefield Soccer Club has provided an opportunity to play soccer for youth between the ages of 3 1/2 to adult. Presently the club is over 2,000 members strong which includes recreational , travel, adult league players, coaches and staff.

The club’s ultimate goal is to create an atmosphere within which children and adults of all ability levels can learn the game of soccer as well as important life skills of sportsmanship, teamwork and discipline.

Newly renovated and opened in 2005, Pat Patterson provides East Kentwood’s Soccer program with an artificial turf playing surface and room for 4,000 excited fans.

In addition to this field, this complex has additional soccer fields for all ages, a community walking track, 5 tennis courts and 3 outdoor basketball courts.

AstroTurf® rose to the challenge of developing a synthetic field and all-weather track that could be utilized by both Drury University’s Men and Women’s Soccer teams and the Springfield Public School District’s Football, Soccer, and Track teams.

Athletic Director Joe Conway and the rest of the Red Devils organization selected the AstroTurf® GameDay Grass™ XPe system for their new soccer field. The Devils and Lady Devils felt that with their talent on this state-of-the-art surface, they would truly be prepared for a Record Season.

In 2012, the OHS Red Devils Soccer Team won the District Championship for the first time in 10 years. The Devils faced arch rival Daviess County High School to clench the championship.

LOHS offers 27 varsity sports, and competes in the Oakland Activities Association or “OAA”. At the state level, the school is classified as “Class A” or “Division 1″, competing against those schools with the largest enrollments. Recently, Lake Orion has added ice hockey (2001), lacrosse (2007), and bowling to the list of varsity sports offered.

The grounds surrounding the school feature Dragon Stadium, which houses the football field and track. The football field is composed of AstroTurf® GameDay Grass™ XPe, an artificial surface constructed to resemble grass. A separate soccer field is located next to the stadium.

Uihlein Soccer Park, Milwaukee’s premier indoor/outdoor soccer complex, was built in 1994 as a joint venture between the city of Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club.

The park’s many features include 13 outdoor soccer fields (including two lighted stadium fields), three indoor fields surfaced with GameDay Grass™ 3D from AstroTurf®, full food and beverage facilities, locker rooms, Froedtert & Medical College trainer facility and more.

Macombs Dam Park, situated in the shadow of the old Yankee Stadium, opened in 1899.

Bronx officials selected the AstroTurf® PureGrass® system for their all-weather soccer field through the park’s Yankee Stadium Redevelopment Program.
