International Hockey Federation (FIH):
AstroTurf is proud to be a member of the FIH for yet another year.
In many ways, the FIH serves as the 'guardian' of the sport. It works in co-operation with both the national and continental organisations to ensure consistency and unity in hockey around the world.
We applaud the FIH for ensuring consistency and unity in the sport worldwide, as well as for promoting its development.
European Hockey Federation (EHF):
It's an honor for our AstroTurf to have been selected to serve as the Official Supplier of Synthetic Pitches to EHF through the year 2010. That's a total of 15 consecutive years in this prestigious role!
National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA):
AstroTurf is also now to be a proud to member of the NFHCA. The NFHCA is a non-profit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States.
We were also thrilled to serve as the Official Sponsor of the AstroTurf ® 2003 Women and Men's European Nations Cup, that was held on the world's best performing surfaces in Barcelona in September, 2003.
XVII Commonwealth Games:
One billion fans looked on as teams competed at the 2002 Commonwealth Games-- where AstroTurf ® served as Official Supplier of Sports Equipment for field hockey pitches. The games were held in Manchester, England, July 25 - August 4, 2002.
