offer an alternative to polypropylene filled surfaces.

AstroGrass^® is a sport field system that has been designed to overcome most of the traditional problems of sand-filled surfaces.

AstroGrass^® has nylon fiber which will not change over time

• Heat set for permanent curl and uniform traction (no excessive matting)
• UV (Ultraviolet) stabilized for excellent color retention
• Hydrophilic (water absorbent) fiber for low abrasion and improved sliding characteristics
• Moist longer for optimum playability

AstroGrass^® is constructed to be more durable

• Monofilament nylon for less fiber fibrillation
• Tufts are locked in place
• Seams can be sewn (best technique for permanent, trouble-free joints)
• AlphaSan^® antimicrobial technology is embedded within fibers to inhibit the growth of bacteria

AstroGrass^® can be sand "dressed," not sand filled

• Actual play is on the green turf surface, not the sand
• Maintenance costs are reduced
• Better simulation of wet and dry natural grass conditions
• When wet, surface is not as abrasive to the skin
• Allows turning of feet, vital for high-performance playability
• Can be "tuned" (sand levels are determined by sports functionality because nylon fibers do not require sand in order to remain upright)
